    Project Smile's first trip took place in a very small rural town called Santa Cruz Naranjo located in the Department of Santa Rosa in Guatemala. A month and a half to plan a ten day trip where Oz Navarro flew to the country of Eternal Spring loaded with gifts for the little ones. Although Santa Cruz Naranjo is a mere six miles away from the Barberena where dental help can be found, the people of "El Naranjo" cannot afford to take time off of work, even if work permitted, not everybody has transportation or can afford to pay for a ride into town. Over one hundred and twenty patients were seen in a four day period. Staff worked an average of thirteen hour days to help as many families as time and supplies would allow.
